XV de Piracicaba's Samuel Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Jerardo in the 20th minute of play. Haruna Hassan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Victorino Jerardo took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Samuel Andrade to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, XV de Piracicaba's Tadeu de Amorim got a free kick in the 66th minute. Amílton Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match.
