Evelio Jusepe's late challenge caught a Barcelona de América's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Jusepe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Barcelona de América booed when LiBeRiA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Jusepe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barcelona de América's Fabio Marines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Constancio in the 15th minute of play. Samuel Bazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodrigo Amato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Bazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Cornelio Constancio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabio Marines. The goal made the score 1-0. After 28 played minutes Barcelona de América got a freekick which was hit by Palacios Rabel. Rodrigo Amato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pancho Leceta went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Igor Cordairo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabio Marines in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37th match minute, LiBeRiA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Llin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Igor Cordairo got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Espinola Ucles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Amato skillfully saved the ball. Fermin Porfiro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Cornelio Constancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Marines having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, Juan Ignacio Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Marines. Barcelona de América's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Ignacio Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Pancho Leceta took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Rodrigo Amato to make any attempt to save it. Rodrigo Amato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pancho Leceta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Samuel Bazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Amato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arturo Mina fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcelona de América's protests and gave Arturo Mina a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LiBeRiA F.C. booed when Barcelona de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Cordairo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Marines. Barcelona de América's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Evelio Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Amato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Landeras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Javier Landeras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Molina charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Molina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
