Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when László Medgyesi took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Téo Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gyál United the free kick. Róbert Vajda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulisses de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from László Medgyesi in the 7th minute of play. After 7 played minutes Gyál United got a freekick which was hit by István Juhász. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, László Medgyesi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ulisses de Sousa. After 16 played minutes CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Cearense. In the 18th minute Gyál United were awarded a corner. Róbert Tamás went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Róbert Tamás got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ulisses de Sousa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 20th minute László Medgyesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovanni Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When László Medgyesi came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Gyál United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that László Medgyesi couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Giovanni Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, László Medgyesi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ulisses de Sousa. Ulisses de Sousa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Gyál United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lajos Détári didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Pedrão Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrão Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 minutes, István Juhász made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ulisses de Sousa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gyál United's László Medgyesi in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalie prevented a goal. With an all-out effort, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Sándor Jászberényi threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jorginho Pena, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ulisses de Sousa came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Gyál United's István Juhász. But to his dismay, István Juhász quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ulisses de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Medgyesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedrão Neiva made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Gyál United's István Juhász got a free kick in the 51st minute. László Medgyesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ulisses de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Pedrão Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Jorginho Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Medgyesi in the 68th minute of play forced CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Ulisses de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Bebeto Linares got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Medgyesi in the 72nd minute of play forced CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Ulisses de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. László Medgyesi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Ulisses de Sousa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 81 minutes of play, Gyál United's Róbert Vajda made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulisses de Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ulisses de Sousa got control of the ball when Róbert Vajda tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Róbert Vajda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulisses de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from László Medgyesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Róbert Vajda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses de Sousa having to interfere. When László Medgyesi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Gyál United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that László Medgyesi couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Lajos Détári dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ulisses de Sousa, 0-6. Gyál United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
