In the 3rd match minute, ADCR Loreto United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Boaventura to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Róbert Vajda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Afonso Nascimento. Róbert Vajda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Zoltán Ebedli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Afonso Nascimento. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Márcio Esparteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Sándor Jászberényi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, László Medgyesi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, ADCR Loreto United FC's goalkeeper Afonso Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by László Medgyesi. Gyál United's Zoltán Ebedli got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. László Medgyesi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Afonso Nascimento made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Esparteiro came free, but Sándor Jászberényi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Gyál United's László Medgyesi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. ADCR Loreto United FC's Afonso Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save ADCR Loreto United FC from getting a goal against them. László Medgyesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Afonso Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Lourenço Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tibor Kerékgyártó might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tibor Kerékgyártó ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the game, Gyál United's László Medgyesi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some careless play in the ADCR Loreto United FC defense, László Medgyesi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Nascimento. The ADCR Loreto United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Nascimento should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias França was the one to do the kick off. Sándor Jászberényi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias França in the 61st minute of play. Afonso Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from István Juhász in the 62nd minute of play. Afonso Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoltán Ebedli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Márcio Esparteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, László Medgyesi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Nascimento. ADCR Loreto United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that László Medgyesi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Zoltán Ebedli took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Nascimento. Afonso Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. István Juhász received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Afonso Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ADCR Loreto United FC's Lourenço Camargo got a free kick in the 84th minute. Afonso Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibor Kerékgyártó, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 86 played minutes Gyál United got a freekick which was hit by Zoltán Ebedli. 92 minutes into the match, ADCR Loreto United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Vajda came free, but Afonso Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Aldaír Madruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Gyál United were the better team. Gyál United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
