Acilia Town's Beppe Scannella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Pitta in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, A A Arizona's Vágner Pitta fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal, but it hit the crossbar and went out into the crowd. After having played for 43 minutes, Simão Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A A Arizona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beppe Scannella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Diana was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Chicão Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Scannella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match A A Arizona got a corner. Acilia Town's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauro Rodrigues ran over to the corner to take the kick. 59 minutes into the game, Diego Rava was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acilia Town's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A A Arizona the free kick. Diego Rava hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Simão Sena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beppe Scannella was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Acilia Town's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Pitta came free, but Beppe Scannella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simão Sena took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beppe Scannella. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beppe Scannella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vágner Pitta went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Diego Rava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Siqueira having to interfere. Beppe Scannella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simão Sena went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Simão Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that A A Arizona were the better team. A A Arizona's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
