In the 3rd minute Jesus Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Lopes came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by LA MAQUINA F.C's Jesus Lixandro. But to his dismay, Jesus Lixandro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eusébio de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, LA MAQUINA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Negri came free, but Saul Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Macaco F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thomás Pimenta in the 19th minute. The corner ended in Thomás Pimenta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LA MAQUINA F.C's Saul Muc did a great save. Saul Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Geovanni Pinho fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macaco F.C.'s protests and gave Geovanni Pinho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Macaco F.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Geovanni Pinho hit a great ball. Cristobal Jaizki's late challenge caught a Macaco F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristobal Jaizki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Cristobal Jaizki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LA MAQUINA F.C made a substitution. Esteve Amato replaced Patricio Eder. In the 33rd minute, Cristobal Jaizki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovanni Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Muc made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Thomás Pimenta sent off a good shot on target. Aaron Llorienzo charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Llorienzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes LA MAQUINA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Llorienzo. It was beautiful to see Macaco F.C.'s Cristóvão Leme in action when he in the 44th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Negri to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipe Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Saul Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Pimenta in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s Geovanni Pinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saul Muc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute Thomás Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovanni Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Saul Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes LA MAQUINA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Olentzaro. After a rather tough play, LA MAQUINA F.C's Cristobal Jaizki got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Thomás Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cayetano Duardo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Geovanni Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by German Mikelar in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, Macaco F.C.'s Felipe Lopes got control of the ball when Jimeno Estevon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomás Pimenta hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. LA MAQUINA F.C's Isidoro Nastasio was substituted for Cristobal Jaizki. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Glauco Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macaco F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Glauco Negri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Muc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The LA MAQUINA F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LA MAQUINA F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
