Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vic Burrows made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Max Wills was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leicester Lions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. København the free kick. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Max Wills got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match Marvin Lilje shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerry Neville showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 6th minute, Vic Burrows ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lauritz Bohacek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to F.C. København getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Steen Georg hit a great ball. After 15 minutes of play, F.C. København's Jose Brejnebøl made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerry Neville was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rickard Vangshold's late challenge caught a Leicester Lions's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rickard Vangshold helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, F.C. København was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Vangshold to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, F.C. København's Gynter Graudal got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Ronan Walls had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Steen Georg came free, but Gerry Neville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of F.C. København booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathan Leyburn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Andrea Brejnebøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerry Neville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th play minute Vic Burrows came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lauritz Bohacek. 2-1. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nathan Leyburn hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Ronan Walls ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lauritz Bohacek was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 38 played minutes F.C. København got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Vanglund. 39 minutes into the match, F.C. København's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan Leyburn came free, but Lauritz Bohacek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, F.C. København's Iver Dastin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Iver Dastin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C. København protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Iver Dastin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, Leicester Lions's Vic Burrows got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lauritz Bohacek. After 47 played minutes F.C. København got a freekick which was hit by Jose Brejnebøl. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When Nathan Leyburn came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Leicester Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nathan Leyburn couldn't finish the play. Lauritz Bohacek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vic Burrows in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the F.C. København defense, Vic Burrows kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lauritz Bohacek. The F.C. København fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lauritz Bohacek should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, Andrea Brejnebøl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronan Walls during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Peter Kitchen hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. F.C. København's Lauritz Bohacek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronan Walls in the 81st minute of play. A long shot from Marvin Lilje in the 84th minute of play was well struck, but Gerry Neville made a really good save at the right post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Ralf Hind put in a rough tackle. In the 85th minute, one of Leicester Lions:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leicester Lions. Gerry Neville had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Marvin Lilje's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 87 minutes into the game, Marvin Lilje cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Gerry Neville was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Marvin Lilje came free, but Gerry Neville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 played minutes F.C. København got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Lilje. F.C. København's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
