Zé Roberto Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Fernando Oso made a huge save. Zé Roberto Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Fernando Oso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 17th minute Zé Roberto Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Oso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Cerilo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Furlan saved Mochila FC from getting behind. Fernando Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Oso was a little too slow when Zé Roberto Fonseca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 37th minute, Gernando Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Manuelo in the 46th minute of play forced Mochila FC's goalkeeper Donato Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Jacinto Manuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Manuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Cerilo to strike the kick off in the second half. Nuno Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Oso having to interfere. Fernando Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Roberto Fonseca in the 61st minute of play. Zé Roberto Fonseca scored 4-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Oso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Roberto Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Oso having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Zé Roberto Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mochila FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Roberto Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Cerilo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Donato Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huarriors AFC. When the referee blew the final whistle, Mochila FC could leave the field as winners, despite Huarriors AFC having more of the ball for most of the match.
