After a rather tough play, Sotelo AFC's Teobaldo Frederik got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Angelino Vimaro came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Bezek's Jean Paul Fujara. But to his dismay, Jean Paul Fujara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Bezek's Major Major nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Vimaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 14th minute, Jean Paul Fujara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bezek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Angelino Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Paul Fujara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes of play, Bezek's Wawrzyniec Wojtkiewicz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelino Vimaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cecilio Joanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cecilio Joanes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marek Dres was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After 35 minutes of play, Bezek's Major Major made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelino Vimaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelino Vimaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Paul Fujara, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Paul Fujara in the 40th minute of play forced Sotelo AFC's goalkeeper Angelino Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Sotelo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Joanes to maneuver through the defense. Major Major sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cecilio Joanes was the one to do the kick off. When Tobias Dantae came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Sotelo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Dantae couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Jean Paul Fujara notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Sotelo AFC's Angelino Vimaro. Angelino Vimaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Sotelo AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cecilio Joanes hit a great ball. After 75 minutes, Chuchai Ruchay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bezek and the Sotelo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sotelo AFC booed when Bezek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chuchai Ruchay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Vimaro was a little too slow when Major Major got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-7. 81 minutes into the match, Jean Paul Fujara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelino Vimaro. Sotelo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean Paul Fujara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 85th minute Conrado Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Dres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sotelo AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Jean Paul Fujara scored to the left of an out of position Angelino Vimaro, making the score, 0-9. After 93 played minutes Sotelo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Lixandro. 95 minutes into the match, Bezek's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Dantae came free, but Marek Dres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bezek eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
