In the 3rd minute Hortêncio Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müjdat Balıkçı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC juveMET's Hazım Albayrak got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Zekai Tekinalp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Léo Carioca. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Müjdat Balıkçı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Nico Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müjdat Balıkçı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Abdulkerim Bardakçı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC juveMET's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo FSCMZ the free kick. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when FC juveMET was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulkerim Bardakçı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hortêncio Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes FC juveMET got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun. Veysel Ayaydın kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Hazım Albayrak hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Hortêncio Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müjdat Balıkçı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes FC juveMET got a freekick which was hit by Hazım Albayrak. A collision led to FC juveMET getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Abdulkerim Bardakçı hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hortêncio Sena was the one to do the kick off. Léo Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hazım Albayrak went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute of the match, Yuri Neiva sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Müjdat Balıkçı showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Zekai Tekinalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC juveMET's supporters rose to their feet, but Zekai Tekinalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léo Carioca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Léo Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Hortêncio Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müjdat Balıkçı having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Victor Nelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Göktuğ Toygun in the 84th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Léo Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Eusébio Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zekai Tekinalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Léo Carioca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zekai Tekinalp ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hortêncio Sena got free with Müjdat Balıkçı in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC juveMET fans cheered their team off the field, for while Flamengo FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
