In the 18th minute Zekai Tekinalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Weidenfeller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Durvalino Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Weidenfeller came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FC juveMET's Hazım Albayrak. But to his dismay, Hazım Albayrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Kaká Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Müjdat Balıkçı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Zekai Tekinalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Weidenfeller was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Durvalino Quintal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Müjdat Balıkçı firmly grabbed it by the left post. Veysel Ayaydın took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Weidenfeller. Roman Weidenfeller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 45 minutes into the match, FC juveMET's goalkeeper Müjdat Balıkçı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matheus Savioli. The crowd rose to their feet as Borussia Dortmund MZB's Kaká Xavier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Müjdat Balıkçı. That made the score 2-4 after 46 minutes of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.
The wind increased when Veysel Ayaydın made the kick off in the second half. Roman Weidenfeller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zekai Tekinalp in the 52nd minute. FC juveMET's supporters rose to their feet, but Hazım Albayrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Weidenfeller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kaká Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müjdat Balıkçı having to interfere.
