In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's goalkeeper Svatoslav Pazdera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslav Rafaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Neiva in the 16th minute of play forced Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's goalkeeper Svatoslav Pazdera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Dragan Fiedler took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Léo Carioca to make any attempt to save it. 28 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when František Krejčí came free, but Léo Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Carneiro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Flamengo FSCMZ's Léo Carioca got control of the ball when Dragan Fiedler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell František Krejčí to make the kick off. In the 60th minute Dragan Fiedler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's František Krejčí got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flamengo FSCMZ's Léo Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by František Krejčí in the 66th minute of play. Gilberto Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Svatoslav Pazdera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Sena to maneuver through the defense.
