In the 5thth minute of the game Sokol Solakov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1989 Blxsk's Natalio Mitxaut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1989 Blxsk's Natalio Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galin Metzov in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, 1989 Blxsk's goal looked a bit too open when Bocho Nikolchev came free, but Natalio Mitxaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Gaueko's late challenge caught a Lokomotiv Plovdiv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Gaueko helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes 1989 Blxsk got a freekick which was hit by Rene Gaueko. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernabe Dacio during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, 1989 Blxsk's Bernabe Dacio got a free kick in the 36th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Galin Metzov couldn't finish the play. 1989 Blxsk's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
