The Seggiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Di Gennaro should have stopped the shot. Venancio Pancho's late challenge caught a Seggiano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venancio Pancho helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes 1989 Blxsk got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Pancho. Seggiano's Camillo Salvagnin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emanuel Markel, made in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 42nd minute of the match Leonardo Nikola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonio Di Gennaro skillfully saved the ball. Antonio Di Gennaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Bernad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Seggiano's Cesare De Iuliis got a free kick in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Andreoli in the 76th minute of play forced 1989 Blxsk's goalkeeper Natalio Mitxaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
