In the 18th minute Xeneizes were awarded a corner. Ernesto Sanduru went to the cornerflag to take it. After 19 played minutes Xeneizes got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Hermon. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xeneizes's goalkeeper Genaro Errando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alessandro Pantalone was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Antonio Di Gennaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Crispo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Seggiano booed when Xeneizes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Palben didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Xeneizes defense, Armando Pompilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Errando. The Xeneizes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Errando should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Federico Crispo made the kick off in the second half. Xeneizes's Genaro Errando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Xeneizes from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Xeneizes's zone, Armando Pompilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Errando came out of the goal and Armando Pompilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ernesto Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Giammaria in the 65th minute of play forced Xeneizes's goalkeeper Genaro Errando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Crispo came free, but Antonio Di Gennaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seggiano made a substitution. Aldo Andreoli replaced Anthony Presutti. In the 91st minute, Federico Crispo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Di Gennaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3.
