Mattias Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Larsson in the 20th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Per-Olof Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Ivan Billberg made a precise shot to the right of Arvin Eriksson. Youth Academy Of Rhye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Arvin Eriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Billberg in the 24th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Ivan Billberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arvin Eriksson. Youth Academy Of Rhye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Billberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Jan-Erik Ingemarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Stig Högström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörn Hermansson to make the kick off. Erik Källberg charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Källberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Youth Academy Of Rhye got a freekick which was hit by Erik Källberg. Per-Olof Walroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Holm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Olof Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Holm in the 65th minute of the match. After 69 minutes of play, Youth Academy Of Rhye's Mattias Holm made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Per-Olof Walroth was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute, Jörn Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Youth Academy Of Rhye's Ulf Sundström got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute Philip Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Olof Walroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Hård, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Youth Academy Of Rhye fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Strömsbro IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
