When Mark Holmgren fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Billesholm's protests and gave Mark Holmgren a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Billesholm got a freekick which was hit by Mark Holmgren. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Nunes in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Askelöf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Paulo Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Grêmio RK75 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Nunes couldn't finish the play. Michel Törnblom hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. John Askelöf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Nunes in the 20th minute. John Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei de Salles in the 22nd minute of play. Edvin Vase hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Flávio de Lara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for John Askelöf. Billesholm's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sidnei de Salles took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Askelöf. John Askelöf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Billesholm's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei de Salles came free, but John Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes, Flávio de Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio RK75 and the Billesholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Grêmio RK75 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Flávio de Lara hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Grêmio RK75's Wilson Duarte got a free kick in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Nunes made a kick off. Mark Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Paulo Nunes struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. John Askelöf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio RK75. Flávio de Lara took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Askelöf. John Askelöf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Billesholm's Jakob Fagerberg got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Wilson Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio RK75's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cido Barral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for John Askelöf. Billesholm's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Billesholm booed when Grêmio RK75 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Törnblom kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. John Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Nunes in the 76th minute of the match. Martín Braithwaite struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. John Askelöf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio RK75. Paulo Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grêmio RK75's Bebeto Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio RK75 from getting a goal against them. John Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Paulo Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio RK75 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Grêmio RK75 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Billesholm for a fine match.
