The referee showed Gaudencio Cordarrel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes, Vejbystrand's Scottie Moal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raimundo Isusko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vejbystrand reached it. In the 17th minute, Samuel Padro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, Scottie Moal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Raimundo Isusko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Scottie Moal during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Scottie Moal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Vinicio Nofre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Karlsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Elliott Torsberg struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Raimundo Isusko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vejbystrand. Raimundo Isusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Torsberg in the 37th minute of play. Raimundo Isusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Torsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goalkeeper Arne Karlsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Pudes. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Pudes made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Mercedes's Isaac Tonete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Karlsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Elliott Torsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Isusko having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Maximino Pudes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Arne Karlsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raimundo Isusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Torsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Isusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Torsberg in the 81st minute of the match. In the 88th minute Per-Erik Dahlkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Isusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Per-Erik Dahlkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vejbystrand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Erik Dahlkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Isaac Tonete left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mercedes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-3. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Mercedes were victorious despite being under pressure from Vejbystrand for much of the match.
