Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Sanches started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Sanches in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Salvadore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 7th play minutes Leopoldo Sanches shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Segundo Salvadore and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Leopoldo Sanches who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosquín FC's Segundo Salvadore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cosquín FC's Segundo Salvadore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Sanches in the 15th minute of play. Segundo Salvadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 27th minute of the match Gabriel França sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Segundo Salvadore skillfully saved the ball. Leopoldo Sanches took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Segundo Salvadore. Segundo Salvadore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 31 minutes into the game, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Segundo Salvadore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Leopoldo Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th match minute, Cosquín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Colas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Sanches in the 37th minute of play forced Cosquín FC's goalkeeper Segundo Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Segundo Salvadore didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albino Piarres was the one to do the kick off. Luizão Prata hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Piarres came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to S.E.R. Caxias do Sul getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Vitinho Moreira hit a great ball. Cornelio Lizar was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Segundo Salvadore made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Vitinho Moreira sent off a good shot on target. After 80 minutes Cosquín FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel França who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Cosquín FC's Jesus Abajas got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute Leopoldo Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Salvadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segundo Salvadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Moreira in the 88th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Albino Piarres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Segundo Salvadore managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Segundo Salvadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Celestino Colas hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Caxias do Sul supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing S.E.R. Caxias do Sul would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
