Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) AEK FC's Nils Berg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Clapham Rovers's Shane Howden got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Conan Worth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Kyrre Holmefjord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The attack was good, but when Nils Berg in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in AEK FC's zone, Marty Child stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iver Dahlstrøm came out of the goal and Marty Child tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th match minute, Clapham Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Friend to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, AEK FC's Åge Undheim tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Åge Undheim struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Conan Worth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AEK FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Almås in the 18th minute of play forced Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Conan Worth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glenn Osmond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th match minute, Clapham Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glenn Osmond to maneuver through the defense. Clapham Rovers were furious when Dale Friend was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 28th minute, one of Clapham Rovers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clapham Rovers. 34 minutes into the game, AEK FC's Kyrre Holmefjord nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conan Worth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 37th minute Nils Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Worth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iver Dahlstrøm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glenn Osmond in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Clapham Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Marty Child. In the 45thth minute of the game Nils Berg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clapham Rovers's Conan Worth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kyrre Holmefjord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conan Worth having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marty Child made a kick off. Conan Worth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Almås in the 52nd minute of play. Conan Worth was a little too slow when Åge Undheim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kyrre Holmefjord got free with Conan Worth in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Clapham Rovers's zone, Nils Berg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conan Worth came out of the goal and Nils Berg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shane Howden hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. AEK FC's Åge Undheim couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Clapham Rovers. Nils Berg charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils Berg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, AEK FC's Nils Berg got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Conan Worth made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Kyrre Holmefjord sent off a good shot on target. Kyrre Holmefjord could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Conan Worth made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Glenn Osmond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Almås received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Conan Worth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Shane Howden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åge Undheim in the 96th minute of play forced Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Conan Worth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AEK FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
