AEK FC's Åge Undheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamine Xande in the 3rd minute of play. Åge Undheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamine Xande, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Åge Undheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Schmidt in the 6th minute of the match. Lamine Xande kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Berg got free with Emerson Chaves in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Nils Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Válbson Schmidt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Åge Undheim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Lamine Xande left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Joinville - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Viana came free, but Åge Undheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lamine Xande struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Åge Undheim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Joinville - FSCMZ. After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xandinho Thuram got a free kick in the 26th minute. Åge Undheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamine Xande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes of play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Sidney de Queirós made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Åge Undheim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Åge Undheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Almås's late challenge caught a New Joinville - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Almås helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Almås. In the 37th minute of the match Válbson Schmidt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Åge Undheim skillfully saved the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Lamine Xande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Åge Undheim. AEK FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lamine Xande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lamine Xande was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Válbson Schmidt made a precise shot to the right of Åge Undheim. AEK FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. If Xande Musiala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Robinho de Souza was substituted for Xande Musiala. AEK FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Robinho de Souza scored to the left of an out of position Åge Undheim, making the score, 0-7. With a little luck, AEK FC's Åge Undheim got control of the ball when Lamine Xande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronaldo Viana hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Åge Undheim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lamine Xande in the 78th minute. In the 87th minute of the match, Lamine Xande got a very nice opportunity to score, but Åge Undheim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Åge Undheim was a little too slow when Robinho de Souza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-8. Ronaldo Vianas short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Åge Undheim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Viana got free with Åge Undheim in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. New Joinville - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
