AMERICAN BARÇA's Gilen Adán got a free kick in the 6th minute. Alessandro Verdecchia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ereinotz Llorca in the 11th minute of the match. Santoryu FC's Alessandro Verdecchia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ereinotz Llorca in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Anselmo Gabriele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Quiroga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Francesco Forlano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Santoryu FC's Alfredo Malvezzi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfredo Malvezzi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Santoryu FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfredo Malvezzi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. AMERICAN BARÇA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eugenio Bozzo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Santoryu FC's corner Eugenio Bozzo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramón Quiroga quite easily take care of the ball. The attack was good, but when Anselmo Gabriele in the 43rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 45th minute Manolito Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Verdecchia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 minutes, Mark Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA and the Santoryu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Santoryu FC booed when F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Eugenio Bozzo made the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Bozzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramón Quiroga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The corner led to Santoryu FC's Anselmo Gabriele getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Santoryu FC booed when F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilen Adán didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Baldassarre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Quiroga having to interfere. Alessandro Verdecchia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ereinotz Llorca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manolito Flores came free, but Alessandro Verdecchia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Mark Ortiz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Verdecchia was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the game, Emiliano Baldassarre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santoryu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA the free kick. Emiliano Baldassarre kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Ortiz in the 79th minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Verdecchia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Santoryu FC defense, César Nafría kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessandro Verdecchia. The Santoryu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessandro Verdecchia should have stopped the shot. César Nafría could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Alessandro Verdecchia made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when César Nafría got free with Alessandro Verdecchia in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermanno Tagliente during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Ermanno Tagliente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Ereinotz Llorca got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
