The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Otero Huerta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Oier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Oier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manolito Flores showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Ramón Quiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Di María in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Angelo Di María hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Alejandro Hanot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramón Quiroga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gervasio Oier made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Manolito Flores sent off a good shot on target. AMERICAN BARÇA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Baeza to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Elizardo in the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Angelo Di María ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramón Quiroga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 47 minutes of play Jarana FC's Angelo Di María was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Angelo Di María hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jarana FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomiro Elizardo was the one to do the kick off. Saul Valerio struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ramón Quiroga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jarana FC. Jarana FC's Alejandro Hanot got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Xurde Solana got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 64 minutes, Manolito Flores mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA and the Jarana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manolito Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Baldomiro Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Elizardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramón Quiroga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Jarana FC's Serafin Menendo got a free kick in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Manolito Flores had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Oier. Jarana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manolito Flores was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Alejandro Hanot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Tulio Villa got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Paolo Fernendo succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to get real power on a long shot . F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Ramón Quiroga hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-3! Jarana FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
