Kaj Hybbert hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Arturo Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Lea Papá's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Ferrer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Hultman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arismendy Smith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Forss, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jim Hultman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Mojica in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jules Noriega in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Hultman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Arismendy Smith proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Lea Papá from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jack Colin was the one to do the kick off.
