The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fertus got free with Alekos Tabakis in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlassis Labellis in the 9th minute of play forced Black Sails's goalkeeper Nestor Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Min's late challenge caught a KAFSONAS F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Min helped the player get up and apologised. 11 minutes into the game, one of Black Sails:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nestor Ongile had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Loukas Psomiadis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nestor Ongile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loukas Psomiadis went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Vlassis Labellis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christos Michail sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute Moises Fertus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alekos Tabakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Ongile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlassis Labellis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Anacleto Pabla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Sails's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KAFSONAS F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Black Sails's Anacleto Pabla got a free kick in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vlassis Labellis in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Ongile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Anestis Lisgaras got a free kick in the 34th minute. Nestor Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlassis Labellis in the 43rd minute of the match.

If Zacharias Koronios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Ongile came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by KAFSONAS F.C.'s Christos Michail. But to his dismay, Christos Michail quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 65th minute of the match Valentinos Basinas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Ongile showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nestor Ongile stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vlassis Labellis's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Black Sails's goal looked a bit too open when Vlassis Labellis came free, but Nestor Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Anacleto Pabla was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. After 72 played minutes Black Sails got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Pabla. Vlassis Labellis struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Nestor Ongile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAFSONAS F.C.. A hard shot 80 in the game by Valentinos Basinas from a close distance when the talented Nestor Ongile managed to make a qualified save. Black Sails's players were relieved. KAFSONAS F.C.'s Christos Michail got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The KAFSONAS F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KAFSONAS F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
