After some careless play in the Imрêriо Aztêćâ defense, Gusmão Leiria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Sanson. The Imрêriо Aztêćâ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Sanson should have stopped the shot. Guido Sanson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gusmão Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Imрêriо Aztêćâ's Guido Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervásio Lages in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Imрêriо Aztêćâ booed when Ɍυƒυs™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Carmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Baltasar Aztore came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Imрêriо Aztêćâ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Aztore couldn't finish the play. Pascual Isias hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Imрêriо Aztêćâ defense, Éder Brites kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Sanson. The Imрêriо Aztêćâ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Sanson should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gervásio Lages made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Gusmão Leiria notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Imрêriо Aztêćâ's Guido Sanson. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Ramiro Almeida got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Éder Brites had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Aztore during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
