En Avant Nikko's Kilian Brébion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Inculeț in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of En Avant Nikko booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Rogozea didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Gheorghe Vărzaru managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when En Avant Nikko's Marius Moinard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Inculeț in the 8th minute of play forced En Avant Nikko's goalkeeper Kilian Brébion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes, Gelu Chivu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Buzău and the En Avant Nikko players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of En Avant Nikko booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Chivu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gheorghe Vărzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Moinard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Costel Dorineanu hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Marcel Châtard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gheorghe Vărzaru skillfully saved the ball. In the 23rd minute Ionel Lung shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kilian Brébion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marius Moinard in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gheorghe Vărzaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Ionel Lung made a precise shot to the right of Kilian Brébion. En Avant Nikko's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Ionel Lung came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Buzău fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Lung couldn't finish the play. Romeo Le Blanc hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ionel Lung made the kick off in the second half. Kilian Brébion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Inculeț, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 55 minutes into the match, En Avant Nikko's goalkeeper Kilian Brébion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tudor Bosânceanu. Marcel Châtard kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Sorin Zâncă struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Kilian Brébion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Buzău. Gelu Chivu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. En Avant Nikko's Kilian Brébion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save En Avant Nikko from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the FC Buzău defense, Marius Moinard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gheorghe Vărzaru. The FC Buzău fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gheorghe Vărzaru should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, FC Buzău's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Moinard came free, but Gheorghe Vărzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kilian Brébion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Lung, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Hamid Duvernois's late challenge caught a FC Buzău's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamid Duvernois helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes En Avant Nikko got a freekick which was hit by Hamid Duvernois. After 93 minutes of play, FC Buzău's Tudor Bosânceanu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kilian Brébion was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Buzău's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
