In the 9th minute, Herminio Bernebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Bernebe came free, but Gervasio Sazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Osvaldo Mel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Gaspar Ostargi got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 32nd minute, Bonifacio Platon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Gervasio Sazon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Platon in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Ostargi in the 38th minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Gervasio Sazon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braulio Erasto scored 4-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Mel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herminio Bernebe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Txema, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the ORIZABA F.C. defense, Delmar Leheren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervasio Sazon. The ORIZABA F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Sazon should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, ORIZABA F.C.'s Dante Txema got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Gaspar Ostargi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gervasio Sazon skillfully saved the ball. When Ubaldo Mogel came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the ORIZABA F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Mogel couldn't finish the play. Gervasio Sazon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 6-3. Herminio Bernebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gervasio Sazon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gaspar Ostargi hit a great ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Dante Txema managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ORIZABA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dante Txema was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ORIZABA F.C. had won after a very even match.
