After a rather tough play, Mete y Raspa FC's Oto Valtierra got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Paulão Siqueira made the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the game, Paulão Siqueira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Obano Moreyre. Paulão Siqueira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Obano Moreyre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denílson Mandrak's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Obano Moreyre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Gimenez in the 76th minute of play forced A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's goalkeeper Betinho Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Betinho Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Gimenez in the 87th minute of play. When Denílson Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denílson Mandrak couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mete y Raspa FC booed when A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
