Caio de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Luís Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Jeremias Duarte's late challenge caught a Consejo del Mate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 10 minutes, Federico Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Consejo del Mate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Azubeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Jairo Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. União dos 7 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Inautzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duarte de Almeida got free with Bernardo Inautzi in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Elpidio Tipi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Consejo del Mate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Elpidio Tipi got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte de Almeida in the 26th minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Bernardo Inautzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, União dos 7 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Federico Azubeli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of União dos 7 FC's Luís Botelho. Luís Botelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute Elpidio Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Elpidio Tipi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Botelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, Miguel Frechoso notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of União dos 7 FC's Luís Botelho. Luís Botelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Tipi made a kick off. Consejo del Mate's Bernardo Inautzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte de Almeida in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Miguel Frechoso hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte de Almeida came free, but Bernardo Inautzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Duarte de Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Inautzi was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Federico Azubeli took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Botelho. Luís Botelho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte de Almeida in the 65th minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Bernardo Inautzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Elpidio Tipi notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of União dos 7 FC's Luís Botelho. Luís Botelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emiliano Abreu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luís Botelho firmly grabbed it by the left post. Elpidio Tipi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Luís Botelho made a huge save. Consejo del Mate's Bernardo Inautzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte de Almeida in the 77th minute of play. Bernardo Inautzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte de Almeida in the 79th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, União dos 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Tipi came free, but Luís Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes União dos 7 FC got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Aguiar.
