Bernardo Inautzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herensuge Villafranca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Herensuge Villafranca came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Sociedad Anónima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herensuge Villafranca couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Criston charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Criston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Tipi made a kick off. Bernardo Inautzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herensuge Villafranca in the 56th minute of the match. Consejo del Mate's Bernardo Inautzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Mazorra in the 63rd minute of play. Bernardo Inautzi stood somewhat misplaced when Herensuge Villafranca came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Elpidio Tipi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matxin Uceda having to make a save. After having played for 76 minutes, Herensuge Villafranca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sociedad Anónima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herensuge Villafranca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubarna Huertas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bernardo Inautzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Inautzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Ubarna Huertas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Sociedad Anónima players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
