Dawid Skrzypiec was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Dawid Skrzypiec got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to Sletteenge getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Kim Starlov hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Bernard Cerocki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mikael Austmann. The goal made the score 1-0. After 18 played minutes Sletteenge got a freekick which was hit by Alberth Pakarinen. Mikael Austmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Cerocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój were awarded a corner. Franciszek Pacholewski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Franciszek Pacholewski to fire away a dangerous shot which Mikael Austmann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 23rd minute Valentin Bredal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Chazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Sebastian Witek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Feliks Chazon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Sletteenge's Alberth Pakarinen got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Håkon Eding cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Feliks Chazon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uwe Stevnsgaard was the one to do the kick off. Kajetan Peczkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
