The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emilio Jaraba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Paio, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. U Alcaravaneras's Emilio Jaraba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Paio in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Cleto Paio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of U Alcaravaneras's Emilio Jaraba. Emilio Jaraba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilio Jaraba came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Argentino's Dieguito Quintana. But to his dismay, Dieguito Quintana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 11 played minutes U Alcaravaneras got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Duran. 12 minutes into the game, Dieguito Quintana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Emilio Jaraba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilio Jaraba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieguito Quintana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Atlético Argentino's Cleto Paio in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U Alcaravaneras's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Atlético Argentino booed when U Alcaravaneras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Duran didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, U Alcaravaneras's Fermín Fernandez got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Emilio Jaraba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguito Quintana in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Dieguito Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Argentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Dieguito Quintana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Jaraba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio Jaraba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Paio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Dieguito Quintana made a precise shot to the right of Emilio Jaraba. U Alcaravaneras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Paio in the 44th minute of play forced U Alcaravaneras's goalkeeper Emilio Jaraba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U Alcaravaneras's Emilio Jaraba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Paio in the 46th minute of play. Emilio Jaraba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleto Paio's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Juanito Aizpurua took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Urtzi. Leon Urtzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Israel Casta kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético Argentino's Dieguito Quintana got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juanito Aizpurua in the 66th minute of play forced Atlético Argentino's goalkeeper Leon Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes Atlético Argentino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xalvador Madariaga who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Xalvador Madariaga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leon Urtzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. U Alcaravaneras's Emilio Jaraba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save U Alcaravaneras from getting a goal against them. Emilio Jaraba made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cleto Paio sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Emilio Jaraba managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Atlético Argentino's Cleto Paio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cleto Paio came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emilio Jaraba could save by the left post. U Alcaravaneras's Emilio Jaraba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguito Quintana in the 78th minute of play. Emilio Jaraba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cleto Paio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 83 minute of play. When Cleto Paio came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Atlético Argentino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Paio couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, U Alcaravaneras's goalkeeper Emilio Jaraba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Paio. 96 minutes into the match, U Alcaravaneras's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguito Quintana came free, but Emilio Jaraba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Atlético Argentino could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U Alcaravaneras throughout the match.
