Candido Lauros short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Martxelin Pereta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leon Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Salazano, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Kusko Bernabeytia hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jonas Javiar charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Javiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 27 minutes, Candido Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Argentino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th play minute Dieguito Quintana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Martxelin Pereta. 2-1. Leon Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Puncet in the 32nd minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gutierre Avina was the one to do the kick off. The Atlético Argentino fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Atlético Argentino's Dieguito Quintana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Paio in the 54th minute of play forced Oylimpiamos Ψ's goalkeeper Martxelin Pereta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Dieguito Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martxelin Pereta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cleto Paio came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Atlético Argentino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Paio couldn't finish the play. If Pudes Bachiller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Atlético Argentino getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Domingo Cordero hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Dieguito Quintana sped through Oylimpiamos Ψ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martxelin Pereta. In the 78thth minute of the game Dieguito Quintana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oylimpiamos Ψ's Martxelin Pereta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Candido Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martxelin Pereta having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Atlético Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Gasteiz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Oylimpiamos Ψ booed when Atlético Argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieguito Quintana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Atlético Argentino's Dieguito Quintana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martxelin Pereta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Martxelin Pereta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dieguito Quintana's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Pudes Bachiller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oylimpiamos Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Argentino the free kick. After 93 played minutes Oylimpiamos Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Pudes Bachiller. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Martxelin Pereta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Lauro in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute Candido Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martxelin Pereta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Oylimpiamos Ψ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético Argentino.
