After a defensive mix-up in Lyon 69ers's zone, Leonardo Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bart Larivière came out of the goal and Leonardo Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Bart Larivière, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17thth minute of the game Leandro Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyon 69ers's Bart Larivière was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The nice shot from Michel Manche in the 45thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Egídio Prado had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Alagoano made a kick off. Torino SSA's Egídio Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omer Garry in the 56th minute of play. Lyon 69ers's Bart Larivière proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Lyon 69ers from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Torino SSA booed when Lyon 69ers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Eckert didn't get a good kick on the ball.
