Juarês de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Ciociu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cătălin Şoiman kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 5 played minutes, Marquês de Herval's Alfredão Vander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Traian Pantea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marquês de Herval reached it. With a little luck, Marquês de Herval's Juarês de Amaral got control of the ball when Gigi Arosculesei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristinel Floroiu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Cristinel Floroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Simões came free, but Traian Pantea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgílio Donatello struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Traian Pantea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marquês de Herval. Ilie Ciociu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juarês de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Turceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Basarab Şoimaru hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Traian Pantea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Donatello in the 29th minute of play. Gigi Arosculesei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Marquês de Herval defense, Anton Hurezan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juarês de Amaral. The Marquês de Herval fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juarês de Amaral should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute Ilie Ciociu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Ares FC -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Arosculesei. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Simões to make the kick off. Marcus Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th match minute, Marquês de Herval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Aristide Chihaia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juarês de Amaral skillfully saved the ball. Juarês de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Turceanu in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Virgil Turceanu made a precise shot to the right of Juarês de Amaral. Marquês de Herval's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Virgílio Donatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilie Ciociu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês de Amaral having to interfere. Ares FC -MM-'s Traian Pantea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Simões in the 76th minute of play. Aristide Chihaia kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Hurezan in the 79th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Juarês de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basarab Şoimaru hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match Basarab Şoimaru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juarês de Amaral skillfully saved the ball. After 86 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Zé Batista. Juarês de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Ciociu, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Marquês de Herval's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
