Luisinho dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Simão came free, but Traian Pantea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Anton Hurezan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ares FC -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tico Torres made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tico Torres in the 51st minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Traian Pantea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ares FC -MM- getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Basarab Şoimaru hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match João Francisco Alagoano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Traian Pantea skillfully saved the ball. Chicão Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Turceanu in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Vágner Seco could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Traian Pantea however easily saved by the left post. After 64 played minutes, Ares FC -MM-'s Virgil Turceanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chicão Barbosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ares FC -MM- reached it. 66 minutes into the match, Anton Hurezan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ogro F.C.'s Chicão Barbosa. Chicão Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hélder Simão took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Traian Pantea. Traian Pantea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho dos Santos in the 81st minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Traian Pantea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Ogro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Passos to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes, Ares FC -MM-'s Cristinel Floroiu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chicão Barbosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 88th minute Anton Hurezan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ares FC -MM- had won after a very even match.
