Renzo Tailleur might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Prada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renzo Tailleur ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herberto Bento made a kick off. A collision led to FC Klavertje Vier getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Quillian Van Craesbeeck hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Serafim Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pinhote FC's Serafim Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's Baltasar Saraiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeff Spoelbergs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jerry Verengen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Delfim Prada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
