After a rather tough play, El ABUELO FC's Aaron Dimas got a free kick in the 12th minute. Chanchai Kosonsawan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaudencio Manny. El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gaudencio Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kongkait Trakarntatip in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Joachim in the 19th minute of play forced HuaHin City's goalkeeper Tawan Limnapapawan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jose Raebert fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El ABUELO FC's protests and gave Jose Raebert a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Raebert hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Phitsanu Lekavijitvaja hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a little luck, El ABUELO FC's Gaudencio Manny got control of the ball when Paiboon Sirikeartkumjorn tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, HuaHin City's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Cordarin came free, but Tawan Limnapapawan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. HuaHin City's Tawan Limnapapawan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Joachim in the 38th minute of play. Aaron Dimas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tawan Limnapapawan having to interfere. Kongkait Trakarntatip hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes HuaHin City got a freekick which was hit by Nithiphat Sangsoon. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Diego Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot. El ABUELO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Hori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tawan Limnapapawan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the match, HuaHin City's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Dimas came free, but Tawan Limnapapawan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46thth minute of the game Aaron Dimas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HuaHin City's Tawan Limnapapawan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evelio Bladi made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Evelio Bladi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tawan Limnapapawan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jeronimo Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of HuaHin City booed when El ABUELO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walt Samuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Cordarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Tawan Limnapapawan made a huge save. Agustin Nel charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Nel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes El ABUELO FC got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Nel. In the 74th minute Kongkait Trakarntatip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HuaHin City's Tawan Limnapapawan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Bladi in the 81st minute of play. Jeronimo Cordarin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Bunjong Pijit took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaudencio Manny. El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Evelio Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The El ABUELO FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El ABUELO FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
