Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudio Agnese started the match with the kick off. After having played for 2 minutes, Zeledon Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POSSE 1911 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Madaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th match minute, POSSE 1911 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Olando to maneuver through the defense. After 18 minutes of play, Barrabases de Victoria's Brian Illescas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tanio Quilodrán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Illescas in the 25th minute of play forced POSSE 1911 FC's goalkeeper Francisco Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zeledon Madaleno fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored POSSE 1911 FC's protests and gave Zeledon Madaleno a yellow card for diving instead. Zeledon Madaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Tanio Quilodrán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrabases de Victoria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Francisco Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Agnese in the 30th minute of the match. When Zeledon Madaleno was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 32 minutes had been played. In the 33rd minute, Zeledon Madaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in POSSE 1911 FC's zone, Brian Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Torres came out of the goal and Brian Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. POSSE 1911 FC's Francisco Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Illescas in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Ermengol made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Brian Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 58th match minute, POSSE 1911 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Mattin to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes POSSE 1911 FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Roderigo. In the 66th minute, Lucas Roderigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, POSSE 1911 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Illescas came free, but Francisco Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Agnese took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Torres. Francisco Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Claudio Agnese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Francisco Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Brian Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Barrabases de Victoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Illescas couldn't finish the play. Barrabases de Victoria's Ariano Soffia was substituted for Tanio Quilodrán. Barrabases de Victoria made a substitution. Reinaldo Pagueguy replaced Brian Illescas. Atilano Raymon's late challenge caught a Barrabases de Victoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Raymon helped the player get up and apologised. Atilano Raymon kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Reinaldo Pagueguy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barrabases de Victoria's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
