In the 5th match minute, SoS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joacim Rudberg to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes in the game Stratos Ververis did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tasos Kourebes. In the 11th minute, Fondas Gaitanos had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Liverpool F.C. YNWA made a substitution. Anestis Persidis replaced Fondas Gaitanos. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SoS FC! The goalkeeper, Jens-Erik Aronsson, was totally fooled by Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Spyros Volakis, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 20 played minutes SoS FC got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Hedbom. Jens-Erik Aronsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markos Tsevas in the 21st minute of play. Jens-Erik Aronsson made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Markos Tsevas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markos Tsevas in the 28th minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Aronsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markos Tsevas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Erik Aronsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Joacim Rudberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, SoS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Spyros Volakis came free, but Jens-Erik Aronsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Erik Aronsson made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Anestis Persidis sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Per-Åke Paulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SoS FC's zone, Anestis Persidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Erik Aronsson came out of the goal and Anestis Persidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The attack was good, but when Anestis Persidis in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Liverpool F.C. Jens-Erik Aronsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiros Lagonikakis in the 62nd minute of the match. Tasos Kourebes made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Anestis Persidis immediately put the ball in play. Spyros Volakis made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tasos Kourebes however managed to control. 74 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Tasos Kourebes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens-Erik Aronsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 75 minutes, Per-Åke Paulin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SoS FC and the Liverpool F.C. YNWA players grew even worse after the yellow card.
