Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Michael Hoffmann took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Norman Jagusch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hollywood's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave American Airlines the free kick. When Bradley Cerna came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the American Airlines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bradley Cerna couldn't finish the play. American Airlines's Carlos Adams has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 6th minute. Uli Kompa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phil Craft in the 8th minute of play. Heriberto Conley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uli Kompa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Greenwood in the 12th minute of play forced FC Hollywood's goalkeeper Uli Kompa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12th play minutes Mark Greenwood shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Uli Kompa and just under the crossbar into goal. Marlin Noble kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Hollywood getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Florian Klauck hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christopher Schopp during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 22 minutes into the match, American Airlines's Phil Craft sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uli Kompa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Phil Craft came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the American Airlines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phil Craft couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Ruben Seiderer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Hollywood booed when American Airlines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heriberto Conley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marlin Noble's late challenge caught a FC Hollywood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marlin Noble helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to American Airlines getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Marlin Noble hit a great ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind American Airlines's goalkeeper Anthony Shields, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Carlos Adams left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The American Airlines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Carlos Adams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Phil Craft made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Per Dietrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edmund Farrar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phil Craft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Uli Kompa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Bradley Cerna. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Florian Klauck put in a rough tackle. Bradley Cerna shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 70th match minute, FC Hollywood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Edmund Farrar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Edmund Farrar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Uli Kompa, 0-3. American Airlines's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
