The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marek Juroszek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Titus Guillory, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Marek Juroszek made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Colby Sherwood sent off a good shot on target. Gustaw Wlodyga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Carlos Adams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Greenwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Juroszek having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Titus Guillory recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marek Juroszek. Titus Guillory showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 31st match minute, American Airlines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Titus Guillory to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of MO฿฿YN RANGERS booed when American Airlines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph McGuire didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gustaw Wlodyga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Colby Sherwood made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colby Sherwood in the 57th minute of play forced MO฿฿YN RANGERS's goalkeeper Marek Juroszek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes MO฿฿YN RANGERS got a freekick which was hit by Adam Bondel. Evan Galvan made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mark Greenwood immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to MO฿฿YN RANGERS getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Adam Bondel hit a great ball. American Airlines's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Gustaw Wlodyga scored to the left of an out of position Anthony Shields, making the score, 1-1. Gustaw Wlodyga took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthony Shields. Anthony Shields dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Marek Juroszek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colby Sherwood in the 87th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, American Airlines's Carlos Adams made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marek Juroszek was left in no man's land by his defense there!
