Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peter Brask started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Peter Brask notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CRUZ DEL SUR's Mónico Queirolo. Mónico Queirolo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. George Bäcklin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Snedspark IF's Brian Hammarberg got control of the ball when Belmiro Peñaranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Snedspark IF's Brian Hammarberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Pedraza in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Brask in the 17th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Mónico Queirolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute of the match, José Ignacio Berguecio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brian Hammarberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 20 minutes into the match, Belmiro Peñaranda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Brian Hammarberg, 1-1. In the 23rd match minute, Snedspark IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Bäcklin to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Snedspark IF defense, José Ignacio Berguecio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brian Hammarberg. The Snedspark IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brian Hammarberg should have stopped the shot. Brian Hammarberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Peñaranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, George Bäcklin notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of CRUZ DEL SUR's Mónico Queirolo. Mónico Queirolo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcus Hjeltman struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Mónico Queirolo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Snedspark IF. Brian Hammarberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Peñaranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Abdul Esquerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute, Belmiro Peñaranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Hägglund was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Marcus Hjeltman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Ian Nordström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Snedspark IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CRUZ DEL SUR the free kick. Ian Nordström hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes Snedspark IF got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Vennerkvist. Brian Hammarberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdul Esquerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If George Bäcklin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in CRUZ DEL SUR's zone, George Bäcklin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mónico Queirolo came out of the goal and George Bäcklin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belmiro Peñaranda scored 3-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brian Hammarberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, George Bäcklin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Hjeltman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Mónico Queirolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Snedspark IF's Brian Hammarberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdul Esquerra in the 95th minute of play. Brian Hammarberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Pedraza in the 96th minute of play. CRUZ DEL SUR's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
