Botinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal PSG the free kick. Botinho FC's Egídio Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurice Chalaye in the 96th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Chalaye in the 96th minute of play forced Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Royal PSG had won after a very even match.
