Spectators: 171 (Terracing: 129, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gabi Batistuta got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gigel Tilea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 6 minutes Academia Rio's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jose-Antonio Fortuño who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Taltum FC's corner Jose-Antonio Fortuño fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gigel Tilea quite easily take care of the ball. Piero Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgil Şimonca in the 8th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Piero Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 11th minute, Nicolae Hizo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabi Batistuta took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigel Tilea. Gigel Tilea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 17th minute, Gabi Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Sergiu Coșeriu took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Piero Kahn to make any attempt to save it. In the 37th minute of the match, Sergiu Coșeriu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Piero Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Taltum FC's Piero Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Taltum FC from getting a goal against them. After 46 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Pantelimon. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgil Şimonca to strike the kick off in the second half. 4-2 became the score in the 52nd minute when Virgil Şimonca elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Sergiu Coșeriu notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Taltum FC's Piero Kahn. Piero Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Taltum FC defense, Sergiu Coșeriu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Piero Kahn. The Taltum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Piero Kahn should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute Virgil Şimonca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piero Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Olimpiu Dichiseanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piero Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. In the 69th minute, Adrian Blănaru made a precise shot to the right of Piero Kahn. Taltum FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-2. 75 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Suşu came free, but Piero Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piero Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Dichiseanu in the 76th minute of play. Rodriguez Muñio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. Rodriguez Muñio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Dumitru Pantelimon struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Piero Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia Rio. 82 minutes into the match, Aron Suşu notched a goal, 9-2, to the right of Taltum FC's Piero Kahn. Piero Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 86 minutes of play, Academia Rio's Olimpiu Dichiseanu made it 10-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piero Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olimpiu Dichiseanu scored 11-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Piero Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Academia Rio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
