Herminio Osmundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Fidel Tadzio made a huge save. Celestino Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Patrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Astor Galeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black StarZ's Celestino Umea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Astor Galeno came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Academia 1903 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Galeno couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Osmundo in the 16th minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Fidel Tadzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Academia 1903's goalie and right to Humberto Pedroso. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Academia 1903's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio got control of the ball when Alberto Montae tried to sneak it across the goal line. Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Osmundo in the 21st minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Alberto Montae dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fidel Tadzio, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Osmundo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Tadzio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isaias Tuste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Tadzio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Juan Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Umea having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Montae during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Alberto Montae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Academia 1903's Astor Galeno in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black StarZ's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Astor Galeno made a kick off. Celestino Umea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Galeno in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 58th minute Cayetano Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Tadzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Tuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Fidel Tadzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Herminio Osmundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Tadzio. Academia 1903's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herminio Osmundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Higinio Bastia fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia 1903's protests and gave Higinio Bastia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Higinio Bastia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Cayetano Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Tadzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Academia 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Donato Lano. Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Herauso in the 91st minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Black StarZ had played much better football throughout.
