The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jürgen Fackler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute of the match, Marcus Willmann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but János Szepes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 6th match minute, Green Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nándor Gera to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Herman Olsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper János Szepes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz reached it. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. József Sugár hit a great ball. In the 14th minute Marcus Willmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Szepes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. János Szepes made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Pipat Higuaín sent off a good shot on target. Bosko Rilke kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With a little luck, Green Zombies's János Szepes got control of the ball when Pipat Higuaín tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lysander Schütt hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Green Zombies's Emil Halász suffered a concussion in the 22nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Janko Stich's late challenge caught a Green Zombies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bosko Rilke to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Werner Mazur reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of János Szepes. The goal made the score 1-0. Jürgen Fackler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without János Szepes having to interfere. Lemmy Stecher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nándor Gera in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute Zoltán Csonka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lemmy Stecher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elek Gáspár in the 40th minute of play forced 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Lemmy Stecher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Elek Gáspár left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Zombies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. János Szepes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Willmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes of play, Green Zombies's Elek Gáspár made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lemmy Stecher was left in no man's land by his defense there! The 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Green Zombies were winning 1-2.

Green Zombies made a substitution. Nándor Zolnai replaced Ervin Fenyves. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zoltán Csonka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zoltán Csonka received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lemmy Stecher came out and tried to block the shot, but Zoltán Csonka slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 53rd minute. János Szepes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Willmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Lemmy Stecher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nándor Gera. Lemmy Stecher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Medárd Irmai in the 62nd minute. Sándor Lakatos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sándor Lakatos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Green Zombies's Nándor Gera got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute Marcus Willmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Szepes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Green Zombies's József Sugár got a free kick in the 77th minute. Lemmy Stecher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ádám Horváth, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Lysander Schütt was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. In the 92nd minute, Lysander Schütt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Werner Mazur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Zombies the free kick.
