After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Águila's Efrain Orobio got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Holm came free, but Ricardo Peña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Deportivo Águila booed when Cheetah Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Lundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Libardo Fuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bengt Ånger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Libardo Fuentes made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cheetah Team's Bengt Ånger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cheetah Team's Bengt Ånger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Peña in the 25th minute of play. Patrik Holm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltazar Del Cid hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ricardo Peña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Malmberg in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Malmberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Efrain Orobio made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and David Braun immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Cheetah Team's Dan Lundström got a free kick in the 57th minute. Efrain Orobio charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Orobio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Efrain Orobio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play Club Deportivo Águila's Efrain Orobio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 67 played minutes Club Deportivo Águila got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Orobio. 70 minutes into the game, Ismael Peña threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cheetah Team's Tim Askberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Holm in the 74th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Ricardo Peña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th match minute, Cheetah Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Askberg to maneuver through the defense. When Club Deportivo Águila's Libardo Fuentes in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cheetah Team's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Cheetah Team getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Dan Lundström hit a great ball. The Club Deportivo Águila supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Deportivo Águila would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
