Rafet Akçiçek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the match, MegaFenerbahce's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Jago came free, but Rafet Akçiçek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ezequiel Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Racing Club's Rafet Akçiçek threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Urbano Jago, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Urbano Jago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafet Akçiçek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Urbano Jago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafet Akçiçek was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Ezequiel Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Urbano Jago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafet Akçiçek having to make a save. Ezequiel Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rafet Akçiçek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Pero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafet Akçiçek. MegaFenerbahce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezequiel Pero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulu Oylum made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Aldo Manni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MegaFenerbahce the free kick. The supporters of MegaFenerbahce booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Manni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galip Özsahin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Rafet Akçiçek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Jago, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Kunter Bektaş hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Gustavo Pacifico sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafet Akçiçek skillfully saved the ball. If Andrzej Debkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Aldo Manni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Manni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafet Akçiçek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Andrzej Debkowski made a precise shot to the right of Rafet Akçiçek. MegaFenerbahce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. In the 84th minute, Arın Ferhat Şafakgün hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Urbano Jago came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Jago couldn't finish the play. Andrzej Debkowski scored 11-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafet Akçiçek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96thth minute of the game Urbano Jago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MegaFenerbahce's Rafet Akçiçek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Racing Club were the better team. Racing Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
